The Bee Hive

THE BEE HIVE is our museum store named after a shop that was located at 139 East Main Street, c.1885. We have a variety of local artists in multiple mediums selling baskets, greeting cards, jewelry, pottery, original watercolors and more.

Handmade baskets by Peggy Herendeen.  Peggy's first basket was a melon basket that she made in the late 1980s. Today she averages 100 creations a year. You can often find her at local area craft shows and festivals. Special orders are welcome - just give her a call 260.982.6619 and tell her we sent you!

Elizabeth is a Contemporary Clay Artist. She is a current member of the American Ceramic Society - Design Chapter of Southern California (ACS-SoCal). She studied ceramics at Indiana University, Bloomington. She currently lives and works at her studio in the old bank building, 118 East Main Street, North Manchester.

Ashley Sanson, After All Art

Ashley is a Fiber and Miniature Artist from North Manchester.

She uses wool, wire, polymer, and natural clays for her figural pieces. Wool roving is shaped using different gauges of steel needles. 

Each piece takes many hours to complete and is totally hand sculpted. Ashley has been featured in two national/international publications 

for her miniature work; American Miniaturist Magazine, 

and Dollshouse World Magazine in the UK.
